Cranland Fly-in 2026

So there’s a tiny airport near where I live called Cranland. It’s meant only for private pilots. The runway is approximately 1700 feet. This morning, Juli and I went to our first “Fly-in-breakfast” . They set up a little kitchen to serve eggs and pancakes. There’a bluegrass band jamming away and lots of families milling about. You can walk right up the runway where there are several private planes are parked. If the owner is nearby, you can talk with them about their airplane.

If you don’t know this already, I’ve been taking flying lessons with my good friend Nate Weinsaft at East Coast Aero at Hanscom Field in Bedford, MA. As of this writing, I’m still very much a beginner, but I’m going to keep at it.

Today’s life lesson: Go out and do stuff.
